In Her Words HOW GOLF CHANGED MY LIFE

I don’t even know how to begin to thank you for everything that you have done for me. You have been my world for the last 15 years. When I first picked up a golf club, I had no idea that we were about to embark on a beautiful journey together. Through all the ups and downs in life, you were always at the center.

Before I went to Lynn, we had big plans for each other. I was going to work hard and try to be the best golfer that I could be so I could make a living playing the sport that I love so very much. Little did I know, you had different plans for me. Our relationship evolved and it scared me. I never wanted to devote my time to other things, but it was necessary. I wanted to help other people and, if it wasn’t for you giving me that platform, I would have never found my voice. You helped me discover that playing golf was a big part of what I do, but it’s not who I am.

I would not be the person I am today if it wasn’t for all the important life lessons that you taught me. You taught me the importance of discipline and having a strong work ethic. You also taught me the importance of believing in myself. Everything that I have accomplished today is because of your important lessons.

Although, I may not play golf everyday you are still a big part of my life and always will be. I am who I am today because of the opportunities you allowed me to have. I will always be grateful for you and I thank you for changing my life.
