More NCAA Division I Softball than ever will be available this spring on ESPN Networks and ESPN+. ESPN continues to increase its commitment to the sport with more than 125 televised games, more than 1,000 available digitally and the addition of ESPN Events’ inaugural St. Pete Clearwater Elite Invitational Presented by Wilson.

ESPN’s industry leading schedule will represent 20 conferences including ACC, America East, Atlantic Sun, Atlantic Ten, Big 12, Big Ten, Big South, Conference USA, Horizon League, Ivy League, Metro Atlantic, Mid-American, Missouri Valley, OVC, Pac-12, SEC, Southern, Southland, Sun Belt and Western Athletic. Games will be available on ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, SEC Network, Longhorn Network, SEC Network+, ACC Network Extra, and ESPN+, the premium direct-to-consumer video service from The Walt Disney Company’s Direct-to-Consumer and International (DTCI) and ESPN. All match-ups will also be accessible via the ESPN App.

Additional Schedule Highlights:

  • ESPN and ESPN2 Schedule Showcases Best of Big 12, Pac 12 and SEC: The top-ranked UCLA Bruins appear twice on ESPN2 this season, traveling to No. 12 Arizona State on Saturday, April 6, and hosting Oregon on Sunday, April 14. The Pac-12 will make two additional appearances on ESPN and ESPN2 with Oregon hosting No. 2 Washington on Saturday, March 23, (ESPN) and in-state rivals No. 12 Arizona State and No. 6 Arizona meeting in Tucson on Sun, March 31 (ESPN2).
    • The four ranked Big 12 teams—No. 4 Oklahoma, No. 16 Texas, No. 19 Baylor and No. 21 Oklahoma State—all appear on ESPN and ESPN2 throughout the season, starting with No. 21. Oklahoma State at No. 19 Baylor on Sunday, March 24 (ESPN2) and closing out with No. 21 Oklahoma State at No. 4 Oklahoma on Saturday, May 4 (ESPN).
    • The SEC will have 13 ranked match-ups across ESPN and ESPN2 this season with nine of the 13 teams appearing. The highest ranked SEC team, No.5 Florida will make the most appearances (5) on the two networks along with No. 7 Georgia and No.11 Alabama.
  • Reigning National Champions Hail from the ACC: Coming off their first National Championship in program history and the first in softball for the ACC, the Florida State Seminoles will have four regular season televised matchups on ESPN Networks, bookended by showdowns with in-state rivals Florida on Wednesday, April 3, and Wednesday, April 17. The majority of Florida State’s home schedule will be available on ACC Network Extra.
  • SEC Network: SEC Network’s 50-game schedule begins in earnest on Sunday, March 10, with a four-game slate: No. 8 Tennessee at No. 5 Florida (noon ET), Missouri at No. 11 Alabama (2 p.m.), No. 10 LSU at No. 20 Texas A&M (4 p.m.) and No. 12 Arkansas at Ole Miss (6 p.m.). Among the highlights on the network this season, Bases Loaded—a three-hour special presentation featuring all 13 SEC teams—returns on Sunday, May 5, at 1 p.m. ET. SEC Network will also carry every early round game of the SEC Tournament with the semifinals airing on ESPNU and the SEC Championship available on ESPN2.
  • Longhorn Network: The home of Texas Softball will carry every home game of the No. 16 Longhorns and features a total programming slate of more than 40 softball games overall. Anchoring the schedule is the home series against four-time National Champions, the No. 4 Oklahoma Sooners (April 18-20). No. 23 Minnesota will also travel to Austin for the Longhorn Invitational and will face Texas three times throughout the tournament (March 8-10). The full Texas Longhorn schedule is available here.
  • ESPN+: After launching last April, ESPN+ will carry the first full softball season in 2019, offering fans access to even more softball coverage courtesy of extensive rights agreements with several conferences including the American East, Atlantic Ten, Atlantic Sun, Big South, Conference USA, Horizon, MVC, OVC, the Ivy League and Sun Belt
  • Pete/Clearwater Elite Invitational Presented by Wilson: In addition to the regular season slate, ESPN Events will debut its first ever ESPN owned and operated softball event with the St. Pete/Clearwater Elite Invitational held at the Eddie C. Moore Complex in Clearwater, Fla., February 14-17, 2019. The field is comprised of 16 teams for a total of 39 games, 25 of which be available across ESPN2, ESPNU, SEC Network and ESPN3.   • Conference Championships: In addition to the SEC Softball Tournament, the ACC and the AAC Championships will be televised as well, with additional conference tournaments available on ESPN3 and ESPN+. The ACC Championship will be Saturday, May 11, at noon on ESPN, and the AAC Championship will be that same day, at noon, on ESPN2.
  • NCAA Division I Softball Championship: Once again, ESPN will be the home of the NCAA Division I Softball post-season, kicking things off with the NCAA Selection Show on Sunday, May 12 at 9 p.m. on ESPN2.
