The NCAA’s diversity research provides a historical look at the race/ethnicity and gender of student-athletes, coaches and administrators in NCAA college sports. The data is submitted annually by NCAA member schools, and has been available in a searchable online database since the 2011-12 academic year.

The demographics database and downloadable files include information on student-athletes, coaches and administrators. The information provides a general view of recent and historical trends of the following racial and ethnic groups by gender, sport, division and title:
